Lake Titicaca:

Lake Titicaca:

TIPS: From here we booked a bus in the town of Copacabana to Cusco.

Cusco:

STAY: Wild Rover

EAT: Jacks Cafe/ Muse de Cafe/ Korma Sutra

DO: Walk around the city, watch the street parades, go to the massive market, the parties at wild rover are great. From here you also do Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu.

TIPS: We bought so much here because its the cheapest please really to get souvenirs - the huge market is amazing, you can barter them down a lot.

Machu Picchu: Book from the tour place right by Loki and Wild Rover in Cusco – we did the 3 day jungle trek which is mountain biking, white water rafting, ziplining and walking up Machu Picchu, can literally book the day before and ours was $150 so don’t pay much more than that. Do not do the train, its double the price and its defo worth the walk.

TIPS: The last part is the hardest so if you don't fancy walking you can get a bus the rest of the way but the first few days of walking isn't hard at all.

Arepuipa:

STAY: Wild Rover - Beautiful colonial city for exploring with loads of amazing restaurants and nice buildings all at the base of a volcano (3 days).

Huacachina:

STAY: Banana Adventures Hostel (expensive but amazing food and really social) Wild Olive or Wild Rover I think has just opened there – wild olive nice hostel that gives you discounts at their own restaurant and a nearby pool.

EAT: Lots of places around - nothing really stuck out apart from Banana Hostel

DO: Sand boarding trip organised by the hostel, so much fun. Walk up the sand dunes for sunset and run back down SO FUN! We loved it here!

TIPS: Get the bus to Ica and a taxi to Huacachina from there. DO NOT DO PERU HOP - biggest waste of money EVER!(2/3 days)

Lima:

STAY: Loki – nice city to explore, but not loads to do (2 days).

Mancora:

STAY: Loki – lush ex-hotel hostel right on the beach.

EAT: Green Eggs and Ham for brunch and La Serena d’Juan for a banging dinner (4 days).
